The Ocean Pollution Crisis
Annually, 8 million tonnes of trash finds its way into the ocean, killing 100 million marine animals, coral reefs, and contaminating the food chain with toxic chemicals. Once trash enters the ocean, the majority of it sinks to the ocean floor where it cannot be removed, thus it is imperative we stop trash at the source.
