Report: unmet legal need puts heat on MPs’ surgeries

MPs across the political spectrum had become aware of rising legal need, it found.

Think tank calls for compulsory pro bono and oaths for newly-qualified lawyers

CourtNav set for expansion as it wins innovation award

Should prospective lawyers have to do pro bono work to qualify? New York says ‘yes’

It comes as 6,000 lawyers walked around London yesterday to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for legal charities.

Government to consider tightening up referral fee ban and regulating third-party funding
