The 2023 Lawyer Top 200 UK Law Firms ranking position has been officially announced, and after breaking into the Top 100 last year for the first time in their 22-year history, Express Solicitors has improved again, now placed at number 80.
This new ranking is 13 places up from rank 93 in 2022.
The Manchester-based personal injury firm has seen consistent growth year after year, with turnover on the up again; this year up 28% to land just shy of £54m.
Express has also just made an impressive round of promotions and new hires across different areas of the business.
And once again, Express Solicitors stands out as being one of the few firms within the Top 100 specialising in personal injury claims.
James Maxey, Chief Executive Officer of Express Solicitors, said: “Following on from us breaking into the Top 100 last year we’ve had another great year.
“The acquisition of Michael W Halsall Solicitors in October last year has been a big factor in our success and another development is the purchase and refurbishment of premises in Sharston, South Manchester which will allow us to keep growing.
“It’s also exciting that we have more growth locked in with the recent acquisitions of Amelans and Jefferies Solicitors. The opportunities before us are looking very good indeed.
“This continued improvement is down to all our dedicated staff across the firm, from the new client team to our fantastic lawyers as well as all our non-lawyer staff, putting in all the hard work.”
Daniel Slade, Chief Executive Officer Legal added:
“We’re delighted with the progress we’ve made over the past few years, we’ve continued to develop a respected firm of specialist lawyers and experts across departments.
“The climbing up the Top 100 list really shows that everything we’ve been putting in place, to ensure we continue to provide the best service to injured people and create a great place to work, is all working.”
Express Solicitors first entered the Top 200 rankings in 2013, steadily working its way up to 106th position in 2021 and then up again to 93rd in 2022.
